Aloha – very interesting and entertaining. Have been passing the anecdotes to Grandma & Grandpa S. via phone since they don’t have web access – Alex will probably do a lot of reading while he’s at their house over the next few days. Have fun and drink plenty of water!

Dear Adventurers

I think I am going to get a bowl of ramen or udon at lunch today. Emily I like your blog, it is very thorough and layed out very professionally, however you post the abreviated version of your excursions for me, hah! Misty the bird started chirping today, he must be getting over his ordeal with the cat. Phoebie and Freeway miss you both. Post alot of pics, especially the ones with noodles! The weather at home is quite nice. We are having a mild summer. Bluefin, Yellowfin tuna, Dorado have been caught close to OC waters. This is pretty rare. Steve should do well on his trip. Last night the Japanese swimmer did well in the Olympics.

Take Care

Grandma Shozi came by this morning to drop off Alex. I showed her the blog with pictures and video. I think the daikon thingee was cool. Everyone looks so happy in the pictures. I wonder if it’s because Vince, Alex, and I are not around to be annoying.

Endeavor 1.5 Day
14 Anglers: 36 Albacore, 4 Dorado, 20 Yellowfin Tuna, 4 Yellowtail
My catch: 3 albacore, 1 yellowfin tuna, and 1 dorado. As you can see, so-so fishing. Boat came in at 4:30a this morning. Had a great time fishing with the Tabata clan and friends.

Great to hear from you today. Sounds like you “girls” are having a fabulous time despite the heat and humidity. Tokyo is indeed a great place to visit. Don’t hesitate to post lots of pictures!

Love and kisses from Steve and Alex

I liked the mention of the all-you-can-eat restaurant. Does a bouncer come and throw you out when your time is up?

Can you imagine an American ball field being emptied section by section; there would be a riot.

Loved your makeover pictures! Glad you have been enjoying the trip. I’ve been “out of it” with my mom’s health issues, so I haven’t been following daily, but have intermittenly watched and enjoyed. Love, Jan
